Follow the themes of the John Muir Award for planning your days out, Discover, Explore and Conserve. Low cost, healthy and a way for friends and family to build memories together.  We campaign to show you how and where you can do this in Loch Lomond and Trossachs.

Many of you spent lockdown learning new skills, hobbies and homeschooling. Continue with this, research places you would like to visit, nature that interests you, investigating plants and trees. National charities RSPB, Woodland Trust, John Muir Trust have a wealth of online resources.

There are visitor centres and reserves run by the National Park Authority, Forestry and Land, RSPB and Woodland Trust in Loch Lomond and Trossachs.  Seek out the different areas to find your piece of nature and wild places to explore.

Take action and get involved.  Survey, do your own litter pick, maintain pathways, share what you have learned with others. You will gain valuable life skills and experience.
